2006 Loring Wine Company Pinot Noir Aubaine Vineyard
I decanted this wine about 5 hours.
The nose had a whole lot of black cherry and strawberry, some asian spice in the middle, and a little earth and vanilla at the end. The palate was really smooth, with juicy black cherry, forest floor and spice on the mid-palate, and a creamy oak finish.

2004 Viñas del Cenit Tempranillo Venta Mazzaron
I decanted this wine about 4 1/2 hours.
The nose had blackberry mixed with smoke, and a little licorice. It ended with some dirt. The palate had cherry and earth, a mid palate of clove, and finished with spice and licorice.
I had this with a baked potato covered in veggie chili, cheese, onions, and tomatoes. The food really brought out the licorice and spice.

2006 Achaval-Ferrer Malbec
I decanted this wine about 5 1/2 hours.
This was a lovely wine. The nose had raspberry and leather, plus some plum and a little stone at the end. The palate was very soft and had raspberry and bramble, earth in the middle, and a nice shot of plum on the finish. The only real flaw was that it was a bit too hot.
