2004 Three Rings (3 Rings) Shiraz Reserve
The nose was full of burnt forest, with some licorice and blueberry liqueur. The palate had blackberry and cedar, and finished with some licorice and earth.

2006 Cooperativo Bodegas San Gregorio Calatayud Manga del Brujo
A lovely nose of tobacco, cedar, and cherry, with a bit of blueberry and earth at the end. The palate had cedar and earth, and a cherry and tobacco finish.

2006 El Burro Navarra Kickass
The nose had a bunch of nutmeg and cinnamon, with hints of raspberry and strawberry at the end. The palate was very jammy, and had currant and cherry, and finished with cedar and spice.

2006 Crios de Susana Balbo Cabernet Sauvignon
A wonderful nose of black currant, cassis, spice, and cigar. The palate was very soft, and had raspberry and cassis, and finished with a little cedar and spice.

2005 Domaine Tempier Bandol
A nice nose of cedar, blackberry, blueberry, and plum. The palate had blackberry pie, a bit of cedar, and a spice and cream finish.

2003 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Rancho del Oso
The nose was mainly coffee and chocolate, with some blueberry and vanilla. The palate had mocha, coffee, blueberry, cedar, cherry, and vanilla.

2000 Fassati Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Pasiteo
The nose had a strong dirty cherry aroma, plus some violets and cedar, and a little pepper at the end. The palate had loads of cherry, and little dirt, and finished with a pepper and cedar mix.

2005 Goldschmidt Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Vyborny Vineyard
The nose had a lot of smoke and caramel, plus some coffee and red fruit. The palate had cassis, cedar, a bit of tangerine, and finished with some mocha and cola.

2005 Château Pontet-Canet
The nose had a nice perfume smell, plus cassis, melted chocolate, cedar box, and a bit of spice. The palate was fat, with cassis, cedar, raspberry, and a spicy finish.

2001 Celler de Capçanes Montsant Costers del Gravet
The nose had a lot of blackberry and plum, and ended with some cedar and a little earth. The palate was somewhat sweet, with raspberry and plum. It finished with a little spice and earth.
